Coasters are made using a high quality resin, but please know that all resin will amber over time and should be kept out of direct sunlight.
Coasters are finished with a hard epoxy topcoat, but they can still scratch if an abrasive surface is placed on it. 
Coasters are low heat tolerant, and will be fine with a warm mug placed on it.
